Mental health counseling treats cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects of mental health.  The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on many people’s lives, causing stress, anxiety, and overwhelmed, in both children and adults. Additionally, mandatory social distancing has led to feelings of isolation and loneliness. Many individuals found that they were unable to cope with this global situation in healthy ways and have intentional sought help. 


At Hopewell Therapy, our counselors use a variety of techniques to: 

  • promote healthy lifestyles

  • identify personal stressors and levels of functioning

  • cope with stress 

  • help individuals become more resilient 

  • preserve or restore mental health

  • help individuals understand behaviors, emotions, and thoughts

  • teach healthy coping and problem-solving skills. â€‹
